Programmes
The two programmes that run across the year — one that takes an idea and builds it into a company, and one that brings the people who have already done it in to talk about how.
Powered by Deloitte
Incubator
No idea required. No technical skills required. Open to all students.
That is not a slogan we made up — it is how the Incubator has always been advertised, and it is meant literally. Most people who join do not arrive with a business.
The programme runs across both semesters. In the first, you build out an idea, find co-founders among the other participants, and present at a first demo day. In the second, you work on the build itself with funding, mentors and guidance, finishing at a final demo day.
Up to €1,000
in funding, plus mentorship all year.
- Semester one
- Shape an idea, find co-founders among the other participants, and present at the first demo day.
- Semester two
- Funding, mentorship and guidance through the build, finishing at a final demo day.
EduProgram
Every week through Michaelmas term, someone who has actually built or funded a company comes in to talk about how it really went. Past sessions have brought in the former Head of LinkedIn Ireland, a Corporate VP at Microsoft, and founders from Kota, SQUID, Bounce Insights and Solidroad.
Sessions usually end with a rapid-fire pitching competition and pizza. No preparation needed, and you do not have to pitch to come along.
Wednesday evenings at Trinity Business School, through Michaelmas term.
